A Summer of Fun
Throughout the summer holidays many children from the village and surrounding area enjoyed the activities that were organised by the Village Hall Committee. Unfortunately those who came to do the Treasure Hunt received a thorough soaking but were still able to enjoy finding Winnie the Pooh and his friends once the torrential rain had passed.
The Junk Modelling session was a very messy affair and the Pirates and Princess Party was equally fun. Our final activity in Ringland was very exciting and our thanks go to Roy for bringing along some of his mini beasts for our entertainment. The tortoise, corn snakes, stick insects and tarantula fascinated most whilst giving the heebie jeebies to others.
On average approximately 20 children attended each activity with many children attending more than one session. The feedback was extremely positive with numerous requests to run similar activities in the future.
