Full Steam Ahead
I am delighted to report that today the Great Witchingham Village Hall Project received full and unanimous planning approval from the Council Members.
I would like to thank all of my fellow Trustees for their continuous hard work over these past few years and to all of the other members of the Project team who have made today’s result possible. The Vice-Chairman of the BDC members came up to me afterwards and told me that it was an ‘excellent scheme’. I truly believe that the village hall, playground, war memorial, community vegetable garden and housing is a great scheme and will become a focal point for our village to thrive.
I would also like to add particular thanks to Kevin Francis and James Joyce who spoke in support of the project today and to my wonderful wife Heidi, Liz Wright, Stephen Williams and my Dad (who doesn’t even live in the village) who came along this morning to show their support. I know that there were others who would have come along had they been able to.
So, full steam ahead, we’ve so much still to do.
Best wishes
Chris
