We are keeping a close eye on any funding opportunities that look applicable to the new hall, either rebuilding in bricks and mortar or rebuilding community activities and involvement.

We have one initial application in to the Veolia Cre8 Challenge; only four projects nationwide win through, but hey, why not us?  We are also trying to assess whether we are eligible for the new BIG Lottery funding challenge that started on 1st December.  Chris has been on seminars and workshops for it, but when it finally went live it looked like we did not qualify as an area.  But it seems to be dependent on postcodes, and all may not yet be lost.  Watch this space…

If you have any information about or see any items of news on funding opportunities that we might have missed, please do let us know – either leave a comment below or email one of the Trustees.
