Jubilee Wood Update
Dear Supporters
The Jubilee Wood project got off to a great start on Monday morning with the children from Great Witchingham Primary School playing their part in the first phase of planting. For those of you who didn’t see the pictures in the EDP please find below the link. On day 1 we managed to plant about 52 tree saplings. A few of us met on site Thursday morning – it was a stunningly beautiful morning, particularly once the mist cleared – when we managed to plant another 50 or so between us. Unfortunately only 6 people (including Jacky and myself) managed to spare an hour or so of their time.
We meet again on Saturday (when the forecast isn’t looking quite so good) at 10am and would love to see more people offering a hand – otherwise it’s going to take Jacky and I an awfully long time to plant the remaining trees, please show your support, any help would be greatly received.
Many thanks
Chris
