Review of the plans for the Hall

A group of the Trustees met in September to review the plans for the Hall and discuss needs prior to a meeting with our architect in October.  We have made some minor amendments and the architect will be doing new drawings.  He identified some issues for us that mean it is worth keeping some of the ‘nice to have’ items in the overall plan, such as larger changing facilities than may be needed at the start, as it will give us the opportunity to do things later.  We may also be able to get funding specifically for them, even at a later date.

Subsequently Chris and Jacky went to a meeting at the Broadland Council Offices to meet the Planning team, with the architect and our Housing advisers, to discuss the best way forward in going for planning permission.  We still have to wait for the contracts to be signed for the sale of the old hall to the Diocese in order to make this first step though.
