Christmas Fun – a BIG thank you and more to come!

The Lady-Birds Christmas Fair at the Village Hall was a huge success again this year! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported it, there was certainly a fantastic vibe and a brilliant way to start advent.  Thank you to the wonderful Lady-Birds for their hard work in providing us with a lovely afternoon filled with mulled wine, mince pies, hot chocolate and all things Christmassy.  The stalls were lovely and I did quite a bit of Christmas shopping!   I’d like to thank Liz Wright in particular who does a huge amount of work in the background throughout the year gathering the stall holders along with her trusted helpers Kay and Kerry and many of the other Lady-Bird group.

Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help, donated prizes, baked cakes, decorated the hall, sold raffle tickets, became elves, washed-up, cleared away and generally had a wonderful time in the process!

Heather Kirk would like to put a thank you out to all those who helped out with the Macmillan stall and to those who gave generously for the stall and the raffle.

I’m always amazed at what a wonderful ‘show’ our village can pull together with an amazing group of people with skills, crafts and generosity!

Do remember to join us for our Christmas Carols where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the music and festivities – you deserve it! https://www.gwvh.org.uk/17th-december-christmas-carols-with-the-city-of-norwich-brass-band/
