A question from somebody looking to move into the area
Just thought we would share a very good question from someone looking at moving into the area, along with out response:

Hello
We are looking to move to the area but wanted to check what amenities there were? We have a 6 month old so is there a playing field etc and what events will be held at the village hall? Many Thanks.

Hi Hayley
The village hall is being built at great speed due to the good weather and fingers crossed hopefully by the end of this year it should be completed, with the play areas to follow on in 2015.
Lenwade is a lovely village, it has a newsagents, butchers, bakery, fish & chips & pub. The primary school is very friendly and has a playgroup session on Friday mornings.
In the new village hall we want to offer as many activities as possible, if you have any interests, please let us know. We’ve looked into dance classes, Brownies & Scouts, party bookings, and lots more besides, with something to suit both young and old.
There is plenty of space for your 6 month old to run and play on the site. Also the lakes are lovely to walk around.

We live in Taverham but have season tickets for the dinosaur park which is open all year round and has brilliant indoor and outdoor play facilities. You can try it and if you want to get season tickets while you are there they will take off your entry fee from that day (that is how it worked last year anyway). It seems fairly expensive but if you go regularly the season tickets pay for themselves pretty quickly.
